Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting tasks, including bookkeeping, accounts payable/receivable, and payroll functions.
• Prepare monthly financial statements and ensure compliance with accounting standards.
• Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts.
• Perform regular reconciliations of bank accounts, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
• Analyze financial data to identify trends and discrepancies, providing actionable insights to management.
• Support annual audits and prepare necessary documentation.
• Collaborate with team members to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
• Function as a liaison between clients and internal teams, ensuring that all client requests are addressed promptly.

Essential Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of accounting experience.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to summarize complex data into actionable insights.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Desired Experience

• Experience working in a remote team environment is preferred.
• Experience in nonprofit accounting is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Salary & Benefits
